I never leave bad reviews but my aunt went here to buy a cake & came back extremely upset due to a member of staff called Mehfuza. Her service was extremely bad. I recommend cake Inn or cake shop if your looking for cream cakes as they have lovely management and staff and are cheaper anyway. Cake box has lost a Loyal customer. It’s a shame because it’s a lovely store & another staff member there was delightful but mehfuza is a disgrace for upsetting my aunt. I hope she is held accountable.

Disappointing Experience with Cake Box Coventry I recently purchased a cake from Cake Box Coventry (Walsgrave Rd) for £40, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The cake was colored with a dye that left an unnatural and unappealing blue tint in my mouth and teeth. More concerning was the quality of the cake itself. It seemed to lack the substantial ingredients one would expect in a cake of this price, leading to a disappointing taste and texture. For a product priced at £40, I expected a much higher standard. This purchase did not deliver value for money, and the overall experience was underwhelming. I am surprised and dismayed by the poor quality offered by a well-known establishment like Cake Box. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this store for your cake needs and will not be returning for future purchases.

I walked into cake box, wanting an enjoyable cake. I had heard good things. I walked in and the server, named Mehfooza (not sure if spelt correctly) was unbelievably ill spoken and rude. She was handling cakes with her hands which she also handled cash with, and I cant pretend I didn't see her cough on a few of the displayed slices. Would give zero if I could. Needs investigation. After this experience, my friend told me cakebox got his order wrong and Mehfooza said he was the only one complaining. She is tyrannical. Cakebox we won't rest till you take action! I originally left this under the foleshill road branch. I haven't been here so this applies only to the ball hill branch.

you'd better order in advace, you can choose the weight and design. there is always something to walkin and buy woth our pre-ordering, but the walk ones are usually either slices or large size (for 10 or 12). this one in the picture is the smallest size of whole cakes, and its a biscuit cake, very chocolaty. its chocolate mousse and biscuit base. and well everything is egg free here

Very bad customer service!!! Had a disappointing experience at the shop; encountered rude service and a lack of willingness to help. The unfriendly demeanor left a negative impression. Hope for improved customer service in the future. I’d not recommend this store.

First time going to cake box and oh my word The most georgeous cake in the world. It was so light and fluffy and the icing was absolutely beautiful,we had the classic white and rainbow sprinkles 8" victorian sponge. The best cake I have ever tasted. Plus the lovely lady made us it within half hour absolutely brilliant. Will definitely be using you on all occasions including a little sweet treat ☺️
